Richards Walford was established in 1982 by Mark Walford and Roy Richards to trade in high quality wines from prestigious producers throughout France. Richards Walford also operates its own Bordeaux negociant house, works in strategic export markets, including several in the Far East, and counts many of the world’s leading wine merchants amongst its clientele. Richards Walford is inevitably a significant stockholder, and since 2001 has owned its own vineyard, le Soula, in the Roussillon.

Richards Walford buys only directly from source, and takes great pride in maintaining its hard won reputation by promoting and protecting the interests of both its customers and suppliers. Whether by providing a marketing service to grand Chateau and small farmer alike, or by working closely and in confidence alongside its largely independent sector customer base, Richards Walford adds value to both its suppliers and customers.
